HL-3040CN Digital Color Printer provides digital LED technology for fast printing, a generous paper input capacity, a built-in Ethernet interface for networking, and Toner Save mode to reduce toner usage. Instead of line-by-line laser transfer, an array of more than 2,500 LEDs acts as a light source to project your documents on the entire width of the rotating printer drum and transfer them to paper using toner. Print 17 pages per minute in color and black/white with up to 600 x 2400 dpi. First color page is out in 16 seconds. Adjustable 250-sheet capacity paper tray handles up to legal-size paper. A convenient manual feed slot and rear paper exit provide a straight-through paper path for printing envelopes, thicker media and custom paper sizes. Interfaces include 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet and Hi-Speed USB 2.0. Network-ready printer features 32MB memory and 300 MHz processor and is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
